Backup Made Easy & Cheap? - Backblaze

Why should I backup?

Insurance is something we all take for granted. We pay vast sums of money for it in the hope we will never actually need it. We pay for car insurance, home insurance and even life insurance, there isn’t much you can’t insure. So, I always wonder why don’t we all “insure” our data? Losing data could be at best an inconvenience. At worst, it could ruin years of work, family memories or entire businesses. I’ve had customers who’ve lost all their family photos and companies who have lost all their data. There are many risks to your data from fires to floods, theft, viruses or hardware failure to list but a few. Fortunately, there is an affordable and simple solution – a backup.

The Solution

If I were to list all the ways to backup, I’d never finish this article. “Never finishing” is also a problem I have found with many backup methods I have tried. Thankfully there is one company who offers a cheap, reliable and most importantly – an easy backup solution. For only $5 a month (or less for annual subscriptions) Backblaze gives me peace of mind knowing there’s another copy of my data. I’m not and never would be recommending anything I haven’t tried and truly believe in. Backblaze has helped me painlessly recover files on two separate occasions already in the year I have been using it so far.
